The measurements above are the measurements of your body, not the garment. On the figure, I’ve marked out where all the relevant measurements should be made at. Always make sure to keep the measuring tape parallel to the floor when measuring.

You’ll find that many items (collars, garters, etc) have very specific measurements available in the drop down menu when you purchase. This sizing chart is mainly for body harnesses with US Alpha (XS, S, M, L, XL) sizing.
